Our Mission

Maternal Women in countries with low and middle income suffer from depression during pre and post birth at twice the rate in high-income countries.

Six MPH students from UNC’s Gillings School of Global Health made it their mission to address this crisis.  They call their tools the ARC Platform and ARC PROTOCOL.

THE ARC PLATFORM & PROTOCOL

DIALOGUE EDUCATION

CHANGING ATTITUDES, Biases, Prejucides, and Traditions REQUIRES HONEST DIALOGUE within a community.

The Community’s Urgency will drive change.

The L2T Program deploys two strategies, The ARC Platform and the ARC Protocol, to achieve its support for maternal mental health.

L2T’s ARC PROTOCOL focuses specifically on maternal mental health while adapting CBT  and IPT therapies in a seamless 1-hour session..
